It feels good to come back to my still standing page and read my old journals. To see how much I have grown as an artist and as a person. Even though they may be wierd and make no sense, there is no shortage of 'experience' behind them.

I've overcome many struggles and obstacles as I walk through the doors of adulthood. Conquering my most inner fears to learn that the old saying 'the only thing to fear, is fear itself' is nothing but the truth. I've died on mushrooms spending the nights in heaven not hell. I've talked to god on acid only to learn she's been inside us the whole time.

I've learned that we are all born as an artist.

And that life is about love and friendship.

I havent experienced a shortage of artistic creativity even though I havent painted in awhile. It's just been flowing a different way out of me. But dont fret - I am on a 'hiatus' in New Orleans right now and I havent felt an urge to put my creative imagination down on a physical medium like this in a long time and it feels so good..
